We are all born mathematicians – humans are constantly using maths. Think about when you say your brother or sister got more than you! You are being a mathematician!

In my opinion, everyone starts being a mathematician when starting to measure things – age, height, weight, etc. – and when starting to ask questions that begin with “why”.

I guess when I learned to count! Everybody is a mathematician really when you think about it. We all use numbers in one way or another during the day.

Officially, just over 2 years ago when I was 22. But I think we’re all mathematicians – we all use numbers every day!

I guess you can say already at 6 years when I started having maths at school and enjoying it.

Officialy, when I finished my studies (24 years)

As soon as I was old enough to count my pocket money, I think!! We all use maths everyday – from the moment we get up (waking to our alarm, telling the time, waiting for the bus, paying for the bus ticket, paying for coffee and counting our change) to the moment we go to bed (setting our alarm and counting sheep!!) so I think as soon as we recognise our age, shoe size, time, order of the family from oldest to youngest, height etc. we become mathematicians!
